I am based overseas and booked this place for my work team for Christmas party. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating to questions. Overall my work team enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately immediately after my guests checked in – electricity stopped working within the property so they had no power and wifi for 6hours until the electrician arrived. The hosts were responsive and kept me updated during the power interruption which I appreciate of them. My guests woke up to a better morning after a shaky start with the power problem. They enjoyed videoke and the hot spring pool aand enjoyed the rest of their stay. Caretakers were assisting them well. The only other minor thing (which could have been major) was the head count included in the rate as advertised was 60 initially and was changed to 45 person max – weeks after my booking. Thankfully I did not have 60 people who said yes they will come – if I had 60 people confirmed – I would have been in a tight spot cause it was in a non-refundable period when I was informed of reduced head count included in cost. It would have been a major issue if not for my low number of guests. I think the change of head count would be more apppropriate for future guests but not after someone has paid for the stay knowing 60 people is included – cause it could reaIly cause major issues especially when someone is in the non-refundable period already. I can see that the ad now says 45 which is good. Mixed review but I would say – overall a happy stay reported by my team – and that somehow offsets the other issues encountered.
